Neat. We expect a mockup of this by Friday, Vic.
OK is this right? it’s an 0-4+4+4+4-0. or an 0-8+8-0 ?
0-8-8-0…
Vic, you’ll have to articulate to get it operate on the Pizza!
Looks like it would be an 0-4-4-0+0-4-4-0 or a B-B+B-B, in diesel terms.

Yep!
You know you got the stuff on hand Vic. Now lets see some balls that we all know you have and build it for the Pizza! If I can turn 3’ cars with body mounted couplers on a 4’RADIUS you can certainly make that for the Pizza!
Get Busy!
These were also built ‘down under’ under the name A G Price

I have been on and off (mostly off) tinkering with one of these as well.
And here is a link to the Johnston site as well.

And for those interested, a link to a model built of a Price with some involvement by David Fletcher.

Good luck Vic.

Very cool loco, and that model of it is stunning!
Dave Fletcher’s A&G Price is extremely nice, I built my own lesser Americanized version above a few years ago, its still sits around waiting for me to build something for it to run on, i may run it on the harbor layout just for kicks.
Is it done yet? This is going to be a fun build to watch and even better to see it run on the Pizza.
That is a very interesting project, Victor… It’s going to be fun watching the progress…
Nice build Vic. I like the interpretation and look forward to pics on the harbor layout.
Hah…I knew I felt a disturbance in the force!
Cool project.

Maalox with help with that
On the original pics, Did anyone else notice how deep the tread on the wheels are? They also seem like they have some pretty deep flanges.
