When I have built structures with Jigstones I have used mortar patch and painted them to look like adobe. I’m currently casting blocks for abutments for two bridges, What do you use to blend the seams? I like the cut rock pattern and don’t want to cover it up.

Jan uses “PreMixed Concrete Patch” in a tube. It is made by Custom Building Products and sold at Home Depot or Lowe’s. She dilutes it with water and sponges it on or uses her fingers to fill the cracks and then wipes off the excess.
Thanks Ric. I’m going to start playing with my blocks today and after the first set dries I’ll start patching. Now that summer is here on the desert I get my work done early in the morning or indoors.
