Large Scale Central

Its gone been hopefully not for too long

Its been sometime since visiting this forum.

The reason is we have decided to move to a different State.

My wife is a 5th generation Texan and was surprised when we visited some friends in Tennessee she like the area.

So we have now prepped the house to sell and have it listed.

The Dry Gulch and Rock River Railroad is no more.

We have purchased land in Tennessee.

Once the house sells we will move and start building a new house and Garden Railroad.

The question you are all asking now is where?

We will be living in southeast Tennessee, 12 miles due east of Cleveland, Tenn in a town called Ocoee. We will be in the mountains.

It would be nice to know how many other Garden Railroaders are in the area.

Anywhere is better than Dallas in the summertime (yes I have been there) Good luck with the move.

Good luck on your move Dennis. All the best to you. You’re an “old name” on various RR sites both past and present where I’ve seen your posts. I hope to continue to see it for many more years to come. Be strange not associating you with Texas though.

Good luck with the move and the rebuild Dennis

Tennessee is a pretty place.

Hey Dennis, welcome back! Glad to see you around again!

Hey, Vic,

I’m from Dallas and now I live in Phoenix, wanna visit in the summer? (The dry heat is gone).
