From Bachmann.
I’d be more excited if they re-ran the C-19 with mix & match options. $1K MSRP for basically an Anniversary loco.
1K for a Big Hauler, even at street price that may be a pretty hard sell.
Glad I got the $50.00 replacement drive(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)
That was a good move…!!!
Have to agree with Jon, being able to mix and match C-19 parts has value. in my upcoming thread on building a C-18 having some of these different parts would be helpful. I have at this time successfully traded for the bits I needed for this conversion. one of the big parts needed was the rounded sand dome, which was only offered on one model, and that was the driver for starting with that model. I have changed out the running boards on one side thru a trade to get the correct visual appearance.

@ Al P. I have always wanted to convert a C-19 to a C-18 #315/425. Just never happened, and now with the going prices for a C-19, that won’t happen soon.
BTW: I have a rather extensive collection of photos of 315’s details, and a first hand knowledge of her workings and lay out… If you need any photo help, let me know what I can do for you…And Please start a thread on the conversion, so we can follow along…

Not impressed, most of that tooling is long paid for. What is Bachmann/Kader smoking? Reminds me of the constant rehash of Lionel postwar models thru the MPC/Fundimensions era of the 70’s and 80’s. Time for new models Bachmann, not rehash of exhisting ones.
