And how did the driving and the cam work out?
All those into proto stuff have probably watched the vids I posted, along with those who like Canadian scenery. The cam works like a charm; a big adventage in my book is popping out the SD-Card and plug it in the 'puter to grab all the files. Canât do that with the Canon FS100 because of the software theyâre providing.
The driving? A few thousand klicks! BTW the truck drivers are still as dumb and aggressive - would you believe thereâs a trucking outfit in BC called Aggressive Transport Ltd., they sure live up to the name. The Ltd. refers to their brain capacity.
Anyway, all these big rigs like to sit practically on the ass of the vehicle in front of them, even if that vehicle is already going 5-8% over the speed limit. They get a little upset when they have to brake as quickly as me, or swing out, when I just discovered a new and perfect spot to shoot from.
Do I keep my eye on the rearview mirror? You better believe it!!
Observed a good one last week (while sitting waiting for the train), some donkey hauling a manufactured home - they are usually designated âWide Loadâ - had to pass a little car that was only doing approx 85 klicks in a 100 zone with visibility being limited on account of the curves in that section. GRRRRRRR!
