It wasn't quite April 1st

Glad all went well!

Later,

Yikes! I just read this thread. Glad to hear everything went ok. Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Surgery is getting much better these days as I had gall bladder on the fritz and they made three small incisions, inflated my chest and when in. They removed the gall bladder and plumbing. Five days later I am home feeling pooped but glad to be home. Didn’t care for the " you have to get up and walk" the first bit after surgery. Actually after the first walk, the rest was nothing. A couple weeks go by and it’s old history. All of this was the later part of January this year. I’m feeling much better now but have to lay off the fried foods. No problem there.

May you heal and the episode will pass too.

Glad you are home, HJ.

At some point, you just HAVE to share those drawings with us. :stuck_out_tongue:

Glad all went well. Now you have plenty of time to get stronger for ski season next year.

I took no pain killers after open heart surgery. Still had the weird hallucinations and dreams at night while in the hospital.
They stopped when my evening dose of Cumadin was eliminated. That “rat poison” is nasty stuff.

The more you “move”, the better you’ll feel.

Very happy all is well, HJ.

Good to hear of your success, Hans…

HJ, may your full recovery go as smooth as you say it has been going so far…

Hans, they strapped you down for surgery to keep you from running trains!

I’m glad to hear you are doing well.

I went through that a little over a year ago.
The most bothersome thing is, I mind the cold now.
And the constant thump. But I guess that tells me the ticker is still going…
But it’s good to be alive.

I can give you a list, but I don’t think you want to take these drugs. They make you dizzy and you have to P a lot.
Not a good combination :0
