Is there a source for a tender-mounted "Fire Hose Reel" anywhere

Not sure this is the right forum section, but…I’m preparing to add some details to a Bachmann Heisler and already have a little steam pump. Now I need to find a fire hose reel to go with it. I understood one was available at one time but I have no idea where or if it is still sold. Anyone have a source for same?

One might be fabricated if needed. The one that has been sold, I think, had nice spoked reel ends.

The pump I have is Trackside Details. I think Ozark also offers one. Anyone recall if the Ozark version is smaller?

Hi Dennis,
I have used some round shoe laces for water hoses on my shays that I then stained with some india ink and worked pretty good. for the reel you could use a metal thread spool, they arent spoked on the end but similar design.

Good idea Aaron, I’ve heard of that. Looks like this will be a simple scratch built item. I can’t find any ready-made.
