Thanks Tom you are correct, I ordered the aluminum wide radius switches. Joe you aren’t going to find a brass wide radius switch any cheaper then $36.12 plus shipping unless its used and someone is giving them away.
You’re right, and since I’m about to switch to battery power, brass or aluminum, what difference does it make? Heck, them switches could be made of wood, although we do have a termite problem in these here parts.
Aluminum would be my choice. Although I like how my brass weathers, I use brass because I am track power with some battery.
But since you will use only battery use the extra money for lithium batteries! I recently had one put in the Shay to replace my Ni-cad and sure like the difference.
All I use out of doors is aluminium. 250 on the main, 215 on branches. Llagas. Some of it has been out there 20 years.
