IP Engineering Railbus needs a new home

I built this IP Engineering Fowler Railbus from a kit, but it sits on the shelf and doesn’t have a home among my EBT collection. It is battery powered and runs fine.

The body is wood, with the panelled overlay, and the engine cover and radiator are metal . Door handles are brass. Windows are glazed with clear styrene. The roof is covered with ‘cloth’ panels and painted grey. I managed to varnish the window frames separately, and the interior includes a driver and instruments.

Underneath is a small motor, battery box for a couple of AAA cells, and fwd/rev and on/off switches either side at the front. I thought, as it is quite long, it would stay on the track better if it was equalized, so the rear axle is sprung in axle slots that keep it at the correct height until the track gets bumpy. [P.S. The equalization spring sometimes touches the wheels and will short a track-power system. I could modify it if desired so it can run on live track.]

The kit cost me about $160 and that’s the price I’d like to sell it for o.b.o.
