Wow Dennis, that was really great. I could almost smell the ionized air from those sparkies. Do the overhead masts and wire stand up to outside abuse well? Sure looks neat.
Yes it is doing really well in use Marc . Our layout is elevated 3 feet , which places it up out of the ordinary possible problems .
Operating the trains from the powered overhead cat is actually operating better than what I would have thought . I had thought maybe , that there would be problems , and that was the reason not many people have and use catenary operations outside .
We are very pleased with our layout and electric operations .
The actual ease of powered catenary operations , is sort of like when ," the people in the know " , thought the world was flat !
