Internet Trains

First of all this is not a ‘beech’ about said supplier. Just wondering about them. Eight days ago I ordered a dozen or so packs of Evergreen strip styrene from them. BTW they where the only regular on-line supplier that showed all the items as ‘in-stock’. So after 8 days my order still shows as 'allocating/proccessing. Again not complaining but just wondering if this is normal with them. I can wait, not in a rush. And also their prices on the said products ordered were reasonable.

Randy,

I just go straight to the source for Evergreen supplies.

Telephone: 425-402-4918 or 877-376-9099

Address: 18620-F 141st Ave. NE, Woodinville, WA 98072

I’ve had my orders filled very quickly and correctly.

Gary, unfortunetly I am in Canada, they won’t ship to me direct.

What shows on the computer screen at home only bears a passing resemblance to what is in the shelves, or so I’ve found over the years.

Call them and ask.

For you teckkies out there, why is it so hard for the program that shows at home what they supposedly have on hand to accurately reflect what is actually on hand.

Why can’t the same software that updates their in house tracking also update the website? Surely it can’t be that hard???

Sigh…this is why I miss Ridge Road Station and their very accurate and easy to use web-site :frowning:
It’s not that hard, but some retailers just want your order and have no desire for us to know what is, or is not, in stock.

Randy,
I dealt with them several years ago when the previous management, unknown to me, was having ‘issues’. I ordered around $80.00 of Microscale decals plus post and for six months the order showed ‘processing’. Numerous times I contacted them with no reply.

Eventually, new management took over and honoured all paid for accounts (that was nice of them). As an incentive they offered a 10% discount to encourage hard done by disenchanted buyers to return. Would I return - make your own mind up. I had given up on ever receiving the goods but due goodwill I did eventually receive them thanks to the new management. As the old Latin saying goes, 'caveat emptor'.

How far are you from them in Washington? There has to be somebody you know in the state just across the border, to be your middleman.:0

That would be a good reason for you to come visit us, Randy. Dust off your passport.

Can I have a passport?

I don't thin you qualify. Something about restrictions on poultry exports.

cluck cluck

Randy: Thanks for posting the heads up about Internet Trains. I myself have had trouble with Wholesale Trains in Horseheads New York. Over $200.00 and no merchandise, no communication back from them.
