Internet Trains

Well, possibly a positive note on the Internet Trains saga. I just received this email explaining the woes that they have experienced. Hopefully, my situation will be positively addressed and others will be satisfied with their purchases.

Keep us posted.

Good news at last. Was advised that my decal order has been shipped by USPS. It is now almost six months since I paid for these items (they have been instock, allocated to me, since January 13th, 2010). New ownership of the company is a definate positive move in the right direction. I may be even tempted to buy again as they are expanding their current range.

Successful outcome to this saga. Decals arrived today after ordering and paying for them in November last year. The new owners of Internet Trains were true to their promise and honoured orders paid for and instock as of March this year, to be posted within two weeks. It has been a very frustrating time as the previous owners simply refused to answer emails, even though my goods were shown as instock and allocated to me since January 13th, 2010. I could have ordereed the same items direct from Microscale with no fuss as they have ample in stock.

Tim,
Try Stan Cedarleaf next time.
He’ll make you anything you want.
Or Del Tapparo.

This is why I usually go through my LHS.

John,
I have been using Stan for my decals for several years. I only recently received some European-styled decals from him to letter some projects. For the D&RGW, Microscale has the right decal colouring and lettering setout that I wanted for my kitbashed passenger cars.
