GERMAN Rail (DB) is working with Munich-based Internet of Things (IoT) startup Konux to improve the availability of high-speed turnouts through predictive maintenance.

The Konux sensors detect vertical movement in sleepers as a train passes over a turnout. Data collected by the sensors is transmitted to DB’s Diana diagnostics and analysis platform, which already monitors more than 15,700 point motors across the network.

DB says complementary applications such as Konux enable a holistic digital image of a turnout to be created.

Actually, probably better to knock off those incompetent alien pilots who crashed and let their transistors be back engineered by Bell Labs.

Well, wait a minute, transistors are how those nice MRC power packs work.

Oh dear, now I’m so conflicted, those are nice power packs.

And ya know, the more I think about it during my free time after midnight, the more it is looking like those incompetent pilots were assigned to that UFO on purpose just to ‘accidentially’ seed this rock with those ‘gateway drug’ electronics.

  1. A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.

  2. A robot must obey orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.

and? what good did these laws do to him?

he is dead, as dead can be. possibly even soylent-green dead…

apart from that, i seriously doubt, that these laws were implanted into the police and military robots, that already exist.
