This is a pretty cool little depot. Never seen one quite like it before:
Ray, that is cool. The depot itself looks like a pretty common type depot, but the turret is unique.
Where the hell is Omega?..(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)
Apparently in Pike County Ohio. On the Scioto Valley Railway. Built in 1878, torn down in 1948. Town was previously known as Sharonville.
Here’s a map from 1898. Omega is just NE of Waverly.
I guess they liked that style. Here’s the depot in Piketon.
More than you ever wanted to know about Ohio RR stations.
And apparently absorbed into the Norfolk &Western at some point…(http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)

At the end. I mean, if we are using the Greek alphabet.
Look at the lower right part of the Piketon Station. Looks like a yard or a connecting line. The 360 degree view was probably required for making semi - correct decisions. Ended the excuse, I couldn’t see what was back there, the building was blocking my view.
Those are interesting. And they are kind of demanding to be modeled.
That little depot is begging for someone to build it. That is really a different model. I don’t mind showing my lack of experience in these things.
But what or why is the tall look out thingy for.
Dennis
My guess would be to see trains approaching at a distance.
Snow drifts!!!
After a good snow it’s the front door.

Ray, thanks for the post. That is a great depot. Except for the cupola, it looks like my freelance depot I built many years ago (where the heck did the time go?).
BTW, so great to see your posts again.
