You fellows in the North east are probably familiar with this story but for this West Coast logging guy it is a really interesting look into what could be done back in the day, and not necessarily in the hood. 
It starts kind of ho-hum but does pick up.
Interesting! I can’t be certain, but I am pretty sure the photo at 15:44 is Candlewood Lake where I live. In 1938 the man made lake had only been established for 10 years and there were very few homes and cottages built yet. That view is almost straight across the water from our community beach! The shape of the mountain is a dead giveaway!
