Interesting find on Ebay, they are from a seller in Sri Lanka of all places. The seller had 3 bags for sale, I took a chance and bought 2 bags at a whoping $5 a bag got me 12 pieces per bag of large scale link and pin coupler pockets, they have a thin plastic tab in the back, they are similar but larger than Ozarks end beam mounted coupler which is shown in the pic, these just require a drilled hole and AC in place. So far so good, for the price they are excellent and so far worth the overseas purchase risk. Thought I would share these in case anyone else saw them and was curious as to what they look like.
Do you have the url?
Vic - Thanks. I had seen these and decided on the Ozark couplers. The comparison pictures are very helpful.
Vic , either you’re too lazy to use the cutting board , or can’t control yourself .
Mike
ps . the couplers look ok , but a bit big . Are they for 7/8 ?
Mike I got the cutting board because I thought I was getting too close to breaking through the other side.

He has more listed now
LGB had link & pin couplers on their logging disconnects. Judging from the photo they look like them.
Vic:
Those couplers look like something LGB used on European style units.
I use the LGB link & pin couplers that are supplied with the disconnect log cars on my LGB 3’ gauge side dumps. They are lots smaller than the units you pictured. They are about the same as the Ozark units, but they have an extended tang on the back that allows attachment as a direct replacement for LGB’s hook & loop coupler.
Happy RRing,
Jerry
LGBs used the same mounting tab and screw as the hook couplers
I learned on GSC that these were made for 16mm scale which is close to 7/8" thats why these are larger, what the hey makes coupling easier for me so I’m a happy camper.
I was thinking of ordering these to use as quick disconnect couplers between my mainline steamers & tenders.
WoW! I’m not the only one using these PIA couplers.
BTW, I found a mini-magnet on the end of a short dowel and some 4d common nails, cut short work well for coupling and uncoupling, Lincoln pins. (that is what I thought they were called at first)
Dave your confusicating them with Lincoln LOGS

You use the Lincoln Pins to hold your Lincoln logs together
I blame my misunderstanding on my hearing loss, but I think the problem is deeper than that.
