Guys, I’m in need of a cab off of an Aristo Pacific or Mikado (same cab I think) I am down scaling an Annie and I am in need of the smaller cab.

I would prefer trades ( like my little scratch built logging caboose for the cab ) but if the price is right and in budget I would purchase it.

I’ve browsed “The Bay” but I can only stand to look at all the temptations for so long :smiley:

Would a 1:24 C-16 cab be of any use ? - They are available for $5 on eBay including a boiler shell and a smoke box. Search user con49079 (Thanks to Mik for turning me on to this guy)

Shawn… I might be talked into parting with the cab off my Pacific… I was thinking of upgrading it to the mallet cab anyways.
Do you need this RIGHT AWAY, or could it wait a few days?

The C-16 cabs are still too big, I have one here and it is still larger than what I’m needing.

Yes, I can wait a few days for it, I thought about using a Mallet cab too and Aristo’s online store lists it for 18 bucks but they are out of stock, along side with the Pacific Cab which lists for 40.

plus I took my Mallet cab off and mocked it up next to the Annie, It looked to small, but the cab off of my B&O Pacific looks just about perfect for what I am wanting to do, If it wasnt for the fact that I have a 5 car B&O Heavyweight Consist I would just snag that cab and Tender for the Annie Bash. I’m also looking for an Aristo USRA or Pacific Tender too, but that is on the back burner for after I get the Cab and Locomotive finished.

A Cab w/ windows would be great, as I figured at most I would have to cut some new windows or try to order them from Aristo if they didnt come with a cab.

I need some metal side rods for a Pacific, do you have any?

Shawn, I sent an e-mail to you.

Jerry, I used up what I had left of any metal side rods making Marty’s 4-12-2 motor block. Why don’t you just buy a new motor block from Aristo and get the side rods come with it. You need top use those blocks in your builds, you will like them better. Rex

If you still need a cab i have the cab from a bachmann 2-6-0 indy and an LGB Sumpter Valley Mallet.

I sent the cab out today priority mail, it took a little time because I forgot where I had stashed all the windows, I found them last night and mailed it out today.
