In-ko-pah RR construction update; ore bin

Just a brief update on my construction progress, with pics starting here:

This first shot shows the large wooden ore bin I’m working on. At this stage is it merely a framework, but still looks cool. I have temporarily placed it on the layout to test the fit of the foundations.

The next two shots show how the construction is progressing on the multiple tunnels at the west end of the layout.

I went back through all your pictures. Very impressive and beautiful work. You’ve hada very productive 11 months.

Looking good, Ray! Wish I could pull that off here. Unfortunately, the white ants (termites) would have a field day. Even indoors, on a concrete slab, I try to keep the amount of wood touching the slab to a minimum. Wherever possible, it’s steel or brick.
