Insert Brackets with IMG
Here is one of the errors…
The requested URL /users/noelw/Smilies/We/'re going to Die… Get it going FASTER.jpg was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
The first two URLs in your post arent images, they are links to a post. The last one, “get going faster” contains spaces in the file name. Dont use spaces in the file name, the system wont recognize it as an image.
ok try again with new upload to frt. shed.
ok no space and just copy from url off of slected photo in frt. shed.

and go back in erases the link??

post the photo and then copy just the part on post of the html show then go back in and pst that. that works but hav eto make a dbl post on any photos to show up

show up in preview… now save changes and click and we are in win 8 compatible mode
And that what we get on post a hole bunch of goop showing. something here or there is not good.
all we are doing is copy and paste the url that show up in frt. shed when clicking on it… Can’t drag and drop in to post box. that not working either. Only thing we can get the photo is copy the url that show up at top of browser of IE-10 and then paste that link in the edit post box. then it pick up all of the other stuff with it. we also lost the smiles that Edit post use to have. but do have preview box but photo disappears the photo after posting it.

Copying and pasting the URL from your post looks fine. Not sure why you are getting all that other stuff along with it. Drag and drop of images into a post doesnt work, it never has.
You need to just paste the URL of the image. From the freight shed, when you are viewing an image, select all the text in the URL box, eight click, and copy. Then paste that text unto the post. If you are getting anything besides the image URL, youre doing something wrong thats very hard to debug without standing over your shoulder.
yup. you can change the url link or correct it, but I can’t do it here?? by copy and paste the photo.
Ok I see you added a htm in the post box… Maybe I can now??

Ok .. It's IE-10 setting somewhere.. Went to Firfox and things work ok there now.
So look like it the IE browser setting that has some setting wrong for scrip changes that it makes?

That right there says to me that something else is getting in the way. You shouldnt get any kind of question like that, you should just be able to paste (right click/paste, or ctl-v).

Only way i can get anything to work was with Firefox browser… IE-10 and 11 has somestting that we don’t know how to set for Bobs links yet. We can copy and paste the photo in frt. shed, photobucket and others and won’t work with Internet exployer new stuff i guess… Just try Firefox browser and see if that works.
Sometime when Bob Mc has time, maybe we can go over setting by ph to see what the difference he has to our setting one by one. That’s about the only way i know how to get out setting right.
I know in order to see any photos in frt, shed, is to have setting in Campatable view… With out it, can’t see the photo with out clicking on them to make then come up as a url. Hoep this helps you by trying Firefox and see what that can do.
