After installing Windows 7, I was a little bummed to find out that Windows image re-sizer did not support Windows 7.
So I found this program. Seems to be working fine so far.

Ralph,
I’m pretty sure that MS Paint in Windows 7 resizes pics now–they redid it after Vista. There’s a resize tool.
Hmmmm,
I found it, but two extra clicks to get there. As many photos as I re-size, two clicks is a lot

I’ve been using the MS Picture Manager on Vista on my laptop (on the Accessories list) to resize photos. Isn’t that standard on Windows 7?
No picture manager in the accessories on W7 Pro.
With W7 Pro, you can right click a photo and open MS Paint from the cascading menu. Then click on the image re-sizer within Paint.
It may be different with W7 Home Premium. I have no games on Pro, not even Solitary. Home Premium has games.

Here is the picture resizer I have used for years on my old gateway, and now on both my Dell and my Sony, works great for me. It’s the 11th download on this page link. Just right click yer picture and you can resize, and also reaname and other things there. Regal

Jerry,
That’s the good ole XP image re-sizer. It does not work with 64bit W7.
It may work with 32bit W7.
I have a laser printer that won’t work with 64bit W7, but will work on the 32bit W7.

My Win 7 64 bit has “Windows Live Photo Gallery” installed. (home ed).
You can resize, and do other stuff as well.

See this link for your games,

Where are my games?
Games that come with Windows, and any new games you choose to install, appear in the Games folder.
•Open the Games folder by clicking the Start button . In the search box, type games, and then, in the list of results, click Games Explorer.
If you don’t see a particular title, it could be for one of these reasons:
•It’s an older game. New games automatically show up in the Games folder when you install them. Older titles might not. To add the game manually, see Install a game in the Games folder.
•Windows Games are turned off. By default, the games that come with Windows are turned off, in some editions. To turn them back on:

Download and install Windows Media Player Plugin
To turn on Windows Games
1.Click the Start button , click Control Panel, click Programs, and then under Programs and Features, click Turn Windows features on or off.
2.Select the Games check box, and then click OK.
•It’s a premium game. Some games, such as Chess Titans or Internet Checkers, are available only in some editions of Windows.
Thanks…
Why the heck did they turn the games off by default?
There was literally no sign of games on my W7Pro. There but hidden by “default”.
Heck, Pro cost more than Home. But seems to lack some features of Home and has others turned “off”.
I pay more, I expect more, not less

I’m a happy camper now though. I have my games!
