OK guys, after all is said and done…
1st. Thank you all for all the accolades. I don’t think that I set on that high of a throne, actually more like Vic’s Splinter free portal to the under world. I do what I do for the good of this merry band we call the LSC family, and for railroading.
2nd. I write this from a motel in Albuquerque, as at 0600 my plane leaves for The Bahamas. 2 plus weeks of Sand, Sun and Marguerites ( wait a minute, I have that all the time in NM). Friends have invited us as guests to their resort (Hawks Nest) on Cat Island. The wife will be painting, and I will be examining the inside of my eye lids in a hammock on the beach.
3rd. I have been told that they do have internet, but as it is a very remote location, As Jerry (owner) says “just think of it as at the end of a 15 mile extension cord” it can be spotty at times. So if in fact i do not respond to inquires as promptly as otherwise, it may be the connection, or i’m asleep on the beach, or I just might not care to much at the time. Any of the above, or all of the above may apply. Or may be “Gone Fishing”.
lastly… If I can’t get internet service, the official voting period will be extended… Why? Because I said so. So there!!
Try to get along without me for a few days… I know that I will just barely survive with out you’all.
