that is really neat! boy that incline was crazy, never seen such a thing. The lighthouse on Seguin Island off Popham beach here in town has an incline tramway but MUCH smaller 3 foot gauge with a little 4 wheel cart and about 1000 feet of track couple of hundred feet elevation change. they had a steam donkey to run it but replaced with a “modern” diesel powered one.
Awesome! I’ve seen a few old photos of inclines, and seen ruins of mining inclines, but never seen one in operation or even in working condition.
