Pure STUPIDITY!
JimC.
As a kid, and living by the train yards, we did stupid stuff like that all the time. The trains would block the whole town and we used to climb through them to get to school or even just to get to the other side. They used to have a foot bridge across the yards, all that did was give us a way to “easily” get on top of the trains. Stupid stupid stupid. Our biggest achievement (not) was when we used to cross the tressle, the 300 yard long, 140’ high open tressle, to get to the better fishing spots on the other side. At least we were smart enough to wait for a train to pass then go across though. Lookin back, i’m lucky to be alive.
I too, played on parked trains all the time as a child. We used to throw rocks under the wheels of moving trains to hear the “explosion” of the rocks.
Set pennies on the rails so the train would flatten them. Do it over and over to see how “big” we could get the penny.
We would walk the tracks for miles, crossing many bridges and trestles. Not too bright…but at 10 years old it was fun.

Mark,
It’s not easy on you tube to pause frame by frame, but I tried about 10 different times (quick left mouse button). I never saw the loco/train in the same frame with the boy, so it was fancy editing.
Still, I would never recommend that anyone trespass and lay down on a tobagan between the rails.
Sincerely,
Joe Satnik
Yea, I think that one was edited.
I didn’t watch it. I hate Gore!

I know it’s not real but i’m sure some moron does and would try it for real!
Joe–
Many thanks for the analysis.
Fortunately, our LSC site is seen by adults - mostly, is my guess. Therefore, the promotion boost from being on U-Tube is negated. Think outside our site and consider those kids who watch U-Tube and think that they will be a “star” (check the numbers of viewer hits!) the criteria to garner the most “hits” is just such crazy behavior.
Ah, yes, thanks to “World’s Funniest Videos”, et al., that depicts ONLY the endangered, we now have made the pained into entertainment by deleting the outcomes. For example: Notice, after the person shown on the show reaching for the football crashes through the chainlink fence, the scene is cut not to show the intense pain from being run through by the open wire tops of the fence.
Kudos, Joe.
Wendell
Wendell,
Chain link fence tops…ouch !
Further on in the video it looks as if the tobagan was indeed run over, as it is in the same frame with the end of the train, and can be seen wobbling as it passes.
Hope this helps.
Joe Satnik
Yes. It’s actually rather artfully done. If the tobagan wasn’t there, you’d recognize immediately that the boy wasn’t there when the train came.
In the realm of fake video’s I always thought this was pretty funny
On the other hand, proof the evolutionary pool tends to be self cleaning, how much longer do these morons have on the clock before they self-check out?
Wow, loved this one, check out the dude in the minivan that saw it comin’
Good thing he was paying attention.
