I wish this mini-ice age would end

Did We have a Winter; Can’t tell it here. Went from a Drought to a couple weeks of rain about every other day. As soon as the leaves fell off the Oak and Cotton Wood Trees new ones popped out, now both look like they never lost leaves. So where is this new Ice Age I have been hearing about, Still Global warming down here.

Dan

We had a week of near 70-degree temps last week (pretty much the hot weather y’all are enjoying now), but we still had to do some digging to clear out about 2 - 4" of solid ice that covered part of one of my return loops.

(Ah, the advantages of battery power) This is actually the ealiest I’ve gotten the entire railroad up and running for the season (and I’m not complaining.) Still, March is traditionally our snowiest month, and it is “Spring in the Rockies.” Supposed to be nice through the weekend, but who knows what lurks around the corner. Later, K

Hi Guys:

(Big Snip)

I am holding on to my gas car as long as possible until the affordable electric cars hit the market.

Too bad that the fun muscle cars are now or will become but a memory. Where is the varuuum of the electric car?

Norman

Maybe Phoenix will come out with a 'Cuda chip.

More snow yesterday, nice weather today, perfect for XC skiing.

Believe it or not, they are already doing research on sound units for electric cars. They are a hazard for vision impaired people, who rely on their hearing to determine what’s coming from where and at what speed. So far the jury is out on what kind of universal sound it should be for electric cars.

Rub it in Hans. I only got two days of XC skiing in this season. This winter we had 25 inches of snow and 12 of it came in that oct storm. We should have at least 65 inches for the season. I cant complain too much this warm weather is great.

An inch on the ground this morning and snowing hard.

I woke up to 6 inches and still snowing.

It is now melting.

Dragoon Creek is at flood stage, over its’ banks, and the normally dry Feather Creek has water in it.

We live about 300 feet higher that does jb or Chuck. We are about the same elevation as the tunnel at Stampede Pass, and a bit higher than the tunnel at Stevens’ Pass.

More snow today, good weather for skiing tomorrow. And the best part: it is mild enough to skip the bundling up.

It was 78 here yesterday. I think winter has left the building!

Just more “SNOW” today and cold weather. Saturday and Sunday going to be in the low 50’s and sunny, then we’re back to 30’s and 40’s with rain for all of next week. I’m sooooooo tired of this weather.

Today: brilliant sunshine, super snow. As I like to say: If it gets any better we have to quit, because we can’t stand it! It is that good!
