I painted up my own Stars and Stripes switcher for the 4th of July

I had plans on doing this after scoring the LGB switcher in a small collection I bought and returning it to track power. I bought the star decals, confirmed I had the paint and then the project was pushed aside. On the 1st I remembered it and on the 2nd I got to work. It was all put back together 2 days later.

I’m happy with how it turned out and I think it is actually better looking than the LGB version.

Rocking good stuff Todd. Painter Smurf did a top job on that engine. I also like your Tourist coach gon.

Thanks Boomer.
The “tourist gondola” started life as a Bachmann passenger car, the blue crew turned it into a party car with a bar, lights and honky tonk sound from the piano. It even has a disco ball and for the gentleman parties, a stripper pole.
