I need a Big hauler 4-6-0 whistle, the goddamn cat broke it, are there aftermarket whistles?
This is the only God Dam I know of ??

I have after market whistles, cast in white metal, painted in brass. $5.00 for the whistle, $2.00 to ship and I’ll throw in a Bachmann plastic whistle no charge, in case this repeats.

Here here on the “Dam” thing!!! This is a family site.
Does anyone do any research these days ?
It used to be that when you got into this hobby, you purchased at least one Model Railroad magazine, if for no other reason, than to find suppliers for parts and anything else you might need.
In Large Scale, there are a number of parts suppliers for detail parts like whistles and other boiler fixtures. Try looking in Garden Railways, and Shortline Gazette…
…then of course you can always call Bachmann and order a replacement whistle from them.
Welcome to my world. I dont know why but I seem to always break my whistles off no matter how carfeull I try to be. I hate the white metal because its too soft and breaks too easy for me. LOL My solution was were the whistles breaks, always the thinest point, I drill a small hole on the broken ends put some glue in the holes and then add a small piece of wire to reconnect. It ends up being stonger and never breaks on me again.
