My wife and daughter gave me a live steam Mike for Christmas since the weather so nice here. I have it charging now and can’t wait to start tomorrow.

Yeah but those didn’t need “charging”. They soaked up current like there was no tomorrow when running straight off the cat.

I like my Aristo live steam Mikado. It is best to rig a line from the boiler drain(with a valve) to run a tube back to the water bath to keep the fuel warm. Just the water bath is inadequate, I’ve found.

So, did you get to run it yet? Is it one from the 2nd run-would have a glass in the fuel tank if it was. If so, let’s see some pix!
