Thats an amazing collection, beyond just the trains, but sadly I am in the same position as Jon… in line behind him, waiting for him to pay for his lotto ticket.

Move that decimal place on the 4-8-4+4-8-4 Garratt a bit and I could afford it. :slight_smile: Beautiful locomotive.

Thank you for the kind words, I already “moved the decimal point”, the loco cost me 18,000 in 2009 :frowning:

I called Southern earlier this year on a new in box Garratt and it was 16K. I can’t believe it’s come down in price since 09. Or are there different versions of this locomotive??
