I am railing: Sir Rod Stewart reveals his epic...

Never heard of the guy myself

There is another musical celebrity, unknown here in the US, called Jools Holland, who also has a big UK-style layout. [He was featured in the ā€œConcert for Georgeā€ set up by Eric Clapton after George’s death.]

Peter, please let us know if there was any groundbreaking news.

Here’s a nice pic of Sir Rod.

A long time ago! Or at least 20 Characters ago.

But Wait, There’s More!

I’m not interested in the latest news of Sir Rod.

Korm, you’re suggesting a ā€œMature Audienceā€ track?

You know you’re getting old when the radio stations and bars play music you don’t like, but the supermarket is throwing out banger after banger.

nope.
i was just trying to imagine what kind of deep thoughts could justify a (redacted?) new issue of that video…

(sorry, if i fell again into some language pit, as i did with the he/she/it male stuff)

You forgot them and they :exploding_head:

Korm,
Honestly I don’t think it has a darn thing to do with language. I speak fluent Pennsyltuckyian and they still don’t understand me either.

Oh, Sir, Thee must be even more oldfashioned, than i am. :innocent:

thank you, for trying to cheer me up, but frankly, how can be understanding be found
for a roostery Vader sound?

Oh, no. Instead of he and she or him and her, we must use they or them. Most current way to address the…

oh, them you are talking about!
in my time we called them hippies…

but best is not to call them at all.
just leave them under the rocks.

It’s pretty cool that Rod Stewart is in to model trains. He used to be known as a post concert party animal, like so many rockers of his day but as he aged he turned from the groupies and onto trains.

It’s funny how his music has always been poppy ballads but with Trains on the Brain you would think he would have had a few hits that were in the style of Johnny Cash.

Rod Stewart’s models of urban scenes are amazing. I wish he would put Maggie Mae in one of the apartment bedroom windows! Guess I’m just a DOM (Dirty Old Man)!
