I am in morning, I cant believe it

I just found out that the wonderful Foggy’s Notion in Sandy Eigo is now a quicky lube place.

Arghhhhh thats criminal, what a great place it was. Food, beer, the ppl it was teriffic.

I wonder what happened to theTijuana fire pump that used to hang from the ceiling.

Depressed…

I had planned to go back there soon…

Hey, if you’d like to stop by for a visit and see my layout next time you’re in Sandy Eggo, just let me know.

Oh, you mean Mourning, not morning as in AM. Now I understand.

Most mornings I go to work these days, it might as well be mourning ... To misquote someone or other, "the first thing we do, we slaughter all the beancounters."

I thought it was all the lawyers…

Quite right, excuse nmy finger trouble, I was deeply distressed. I am only just getting over my PTSK27D.

Them, too. But in this case it’s the beancounters I want consigned to the deepest fiery pits of Hades, there to labour over ledgers that will never balance, using broken quill pens and sludge-filled inkwells.

…while sitting on a nail spiked stool with only one leg!

I’m with you, Chris!

…just what we needed; another thread where we can all bitch about something…I thought a thread like this would be down aa piece, under the “OFF Topic Threads”, or somehing.

Fr. Fred

It all started with a mourning moan and went from there! You know how it is?!

But Father, just look, not once have the twelfth, seventh and second letters of the alphabet appeared in combination. Rejoice and be glad ;)

Admittedly that’s an improvement…

Chris…

The name is not “Father”, as if I was into some religious crap…it is “Friar”, as in the Branch Railroadian “Fellowship”…no religious “Stuff” involved, just good fun and friendship, along with assurances of quality holy water, well tested by your loyal Friar.

Actually it started with a lament for the passing of a memory, there was no mention of a moan from my perspective.

Not easy to tell the difference between a heartfelt lament and a mournful moan. Must be that language problem, again. ;) :)

I too am in “Mourning”. After a drive down Merivale Road today; I see that my favourite junk yard is closed up and moved away.
Cohen & Cohen, has moved away…not a loss of a fine holy water dispencery, but a great place to buy good junk…

As outdoor railroaders, of the LARGE SCALE tendency; we all need a great junk yard to find those “Gems” that make life so interesting !!!

Rod; I appreciate your sorrow, and send my condolences.

Relax, Fred, it's only a block or two down and 'round the bend. Sorta like me, that last bit. I keep meaning to drop in there before next construction season ...
