… without staying up and waiting for the “crowds???” to show up on LSC after Midnight.

Well, it’s really easy, puts a smile on your face or has you laughing out loud - be careful with that, you could get a reprimand from SWMBO or a dirty look from one of your pets - while drinking your “whatever it is you drink” and …

Reading the different fora that have LS as a topic does that for me most every morning. Between that and Dilbert … things are quite hilarious. The humour is not always intentional but it sure is funny as hell! :wink: :slight_smile: :wink:

For me, it requires at least two cups of coffee and a jolt from the defibrillator! :smiley:

…Two cups of coffee, Two strips of precooked bacon, Two slices of toast, a “constitutional,” “A hearty Hi-O Silver, and Away,” and off to work…[but only two days a week].

Small voice from crib at the foot of our bed: “Grandpa. Grandpa? GRANDPA!”
Actually, he does it less often these days … like only when I’m trying to sleep in (to 7:30 or so) on weekends :frowning: (Weekdays, I have to be at work at that time)
Sit up … SLOWLY. Stagger to loo. Stagger back. Carry imp downstairs, change him, medic him, connect his feeding pump/tube, crawl back upstairs for shower and shave. Weekdays, grandma and I trundle out to work by way of Tim Horton’s, leaving him in care of uncle or auntie.
He starts school (kindergarten) in a couple of weeks, which will add some complications to our routine. OTOH, we’ve got him this far …
