Hey this is here in northwest Oregun just about 30 miles from me, 99 degrees yesterday !!! But today it will drop into the 80’s so relief is near. Ya right !
A cool glass of Guinness Stout does help. Ya I know, if your on the other side of the pond, make it room temperature.

Global waming has hit us badly . Here in Britain , every other idiot believes it’s happening , so any extreme of weather --blame global warming --cold? global w , glaciers getting bigger ? gl w . Wanna put up the tax on petrol ? G W .So our Tony has one of his few brilliant ideas–use Nuclear Power ,so reducing harmful emissions of CO2 which promote GW (like hell they do ) .
Ooops , the GW mob hadn’t thought of that ,must prove that Nuclear will make GW worse .
Meantime ,our weather is its normal unpredictable self . Warm in places , rainy in some others .
Oh , yes , and we have a drought in the South East of England .
Now , here’s a thing , they can pipe gas all the way from Russia , but can’t pipe water down from Scotland where they have too much . Pssst , don’t mention politics .

We hit 30ºC at our place, but I’m sure just across the lake it was even warmer. We are on the “cool” side of Kalamalka Lake, where all the trees are. 
Haven’t seen any rattle snakes, yet.

We don’t normally see them here except in zoos ,so I keep out of zoos --well , actually , they won’t let me in , it disturbs the animals .
