Love it. Works great and save a lot of space. My tracks are each 24 ft long. You loose the first 1ft to close clearance after than its 13 cars per track depending on the length of cars. Later RJD

Hi RJ DeBerg and Bruce…
Just wanted to say that is one neat storage unit… I was wondering if you have a link on how you made the manual switch some where in the past?
I kinda of remember it long time ago on another time but can’t find it…
I would like to make one with just four tracks storage at out group set of area like yours… That is one neat way to save space.
I just have two track set up now for storage, but be nice to widen it out to Four tracks and have the saving of switches involved to do it… Yours is a neat way to go but not sure how you make it…
Any link you have to see “HOW TO BUILD IT” if you can??? Noel

Noel: I bought the switch from Train-Li as they are readily available except I had the rails Nickle plated to kind of match my SS rail. It comes in brass. Just as cheap to buy as 5 wide radius switch’s. You can also buy it with remote control but adds more bucks. Mine is manual. Later RJD

I’m prepping to move…been packing RR stuff today-not track, just motive power and cars…What the ____ was I thinking? I got way too much!!!

had some original boxes, which seems to help, others get the bubble wrap…OH FUN, this move could be the death of me…

Further down in the "country" about 20 min outside of Spartanburg...to a little farm, hope we have time for trains :)

There is one good thing about moving. It helps you to determine what is “junk to throw out” and what is “Stuff to keep”.

I thought the only reason to move was so you coulds have a bigger place to hold more stuff, not so you could throw stuff out.

Yes and no, the "yard" is 16x bigger, while the house is .5 the size we have now!

Cale, Good luck on the move but I wish I had some of the stuff back that we gave to Goodwill,charity,etc as my boy grew older. I remember him having a melt down a year later when he wanted that barn back...........Crying his eyes out............"Daaddddd!!! I need my barn back............... "What barn son?".......The big red one with the silver roof that mom gave to kids that need toys........................ "Oh that barn" .....

Would have made a very nice kitbash now that I think about it!

That barn and I had a connection as well …distinctly remember it falling out the closet door and the “corner” of it landing on my bare toe Christmas Eve!
