How about this "barn find"

Genamen,
There is much rumor to this story. One is a retired couple bought this run down dairy and found this in the barn. The other is it’s just the owner finally getting around to do something with his collection.
By the way, I brightened some of the dark pictures, and was amazed at what appeared. If you want to see my edited versions, lemme know.
Scroll thru next and next, etc.

HOLY JESUS CRISPY CREAMS!!!

OMG OMG OMG Please say this is in the US so I can drive over their with a flatbed and “liberate” those poor cars from their imprisonment!

I would KILL for that Lotus 7, the 356, a Mini and the Fiat 500 in there!

I would maim for quite a few others also

Seriously thats a hellova good treasure trove in their, the Alfa enthusiests will be thrilled. Not the most desirable cars (no Bentley, Ferraris, or Duesenburgs  ) but still quite a few cars that have substantial owner/fan followings.

Oh Oh,

Watch out the car-crazies are loose.

Vic,
Pretty amazing, init?
There 's 108 cars in that old barn.
Did you brighten up the dark photos?

It is in Portugal.

One story is the owners died years ago and had no heirs. The farmhouse had completely gone to pot.
The barn was welded shut by the owner before he died.
The buyers were an American couple from NY who bought the farm just to get away. They paid half of what is was worth to the Portugese guvmint for back taxes.

The other story is the above story is all bunk. The owner finally cut the door off to start fixing them up and selling them. It was sort of a long term investment for him.

Story two is prolly the correct one.
No one knows for sure yet.

Dam I cant drive there with a flatbed

I think I would beleive the second story, Though I wouldnt even bother to fix em up, either just contact an auction house or start advertising in several of the Classic Cars magazines out there, I can think of two very promonant mags where they could easly sell most of those off to enthusiast.

Now John, heres a tough question, if you could take only 1 car out of there, which would it be?

For me it would be a real hard painfull choice between the Porsche 356 coupe and that Lotus Super 7

Vic, It would be hard, but I’d consider the old US outlines for hot rodding. Here’s your Porsche:

Every time I look at those pics I keep seeing the last scene from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom only I see an old man backing yet another classic car into an endless warehouse of like old cars

Out of the murky past appear all the ghosts, one by one!

BTW I’d like a few of those in 1:22.5 or 1:24.
