Can someone tell me what the “house” on stilts above the tower is for? The buckets empty directly into the coal hopper, so why is it there?
Thanks.
edit: I’m thinking maybe it houses the mechanisms that pull the buckets up and let them down?

Well, whatever it does, “House on the tower” has the ring of a name of an album of some sort.
You could go to the C&T forum and ask them.
