Who turned up the heat?? As of 10:00 a.m. it was already 101 degrees here!
Welcome to what we up here in the Great Hot North have been dealing with for the last two months! BTW your getting the best circumstance as you missed all that lovely stifling humidity!
Our ski area at 1800m got 3" of snow on Monday.
Ugh, 106 degrees as of noon! But at least it’s a dry heat. Humidity is only 14%.
Now up to 108!

Not a nice guy “Hans” Had to rubb it in… May a big bolder bounch off of your head up there when taking videos.
… lol
The world must be truely coming to an end. San Diego is not a constant 76 degrees!!!
SD was nice yesterday, even got some sprinkles.
It peaked at 109 here, currently down to 100. Humidity was down to 7% but is now at 24%. They’re saying tomorrow will be at least as hot as it was today.
It really wasn’t terribly uncomfortable today due to the low humidity. We’ve had occasions in the past when the high temps were in the 90’s with high humidity, and that felt much worse.
Lordy - at 7% humidity my eyeballs would turn to raisins and my lips would look like mud flats in the desert :o
Over here on the east coast we consider 45% humidity pretty darn low for non-winter months. This morning as I drove to work the NOAA broadcast was saying the temp was 51F and the humidity 100%. I like it dry, but not that dry. We had a real hard time when vacationing in the Southwest several years back. I do agree that 90’s with humidity over 70% is darn right uncomfortable.
I hope HJ can send some of that cold Canadian air your way.
Ray its that time of the year, Foehn winds will be on the way. At 530pm here at the office its 100 degrees.
It’s funny, I don’t mind this kind of heat when I’m camping in the desert, but I’m not so fond of it at home.
Whine whine whine.
I work about a mile from Disneyland… it was about 106… driving home on freeway 5, going through Mission Viejo, the out side temp spiked at 111…
went down to about 87 near San Clemente, 83 in Oceanside, and 80 at my place.
The coast does have a few benefits …

Youse Canadians are weird. Or, is it just HJ?
well it has been cool here in the upper midwest. Its been in the low 80s all week. We are expection 88 today but right back down to low 80s tommorrow. But we sure could use some of that wet stuff.
The frost is on the pumpkin, here in beautiful downtown Deer Park. It’s killed my vegetable garden. Still gets up to mid 80s, though, during the afternoon.
We’ve been in the low 80’s, upper 70’s all week. Low 50’s at night. Time to close the pool

Terry - Our weather is about the same now. I wish I had the motivation to get out there and work. I go crazy in early spring and usually work right through the hottest part of the year. By mid-August my motivations is about zero It sure is nice out today - maybe I’ll fire up the live steamer!
