Has anybody heard anything about dinner at Hoss’s the night before ECLSTS 2015 opens?
Noel, that was a LSOL thing. I would check the gardentrains site. I suspect that the old LSOL gathering will fade away as the years pass. After all LSOL is not getting any new members now that LSOL is no more. Back in the day it was a fun event, the past 2 or 3 were not as lively as the past ones were.

An event is only as effective as the attendees !
Kind ah like a union which is only as good as the members make/help it vs depending always on the organizers to make it effective, . . . . or ‘fun’ !
imho
Doug, yes the camaraderie was there. But the event lacked a certain, well, something. The crowd has been getting smaller. Its no longer filed to capacity. One year Jon had to eat standing up, because all the seats were filled.
If someone wanted to get together someplace other than Hoss’s I would go. Too many good places to get food from in that area and Hoss’s ain’t one of them.

There’s only one place to eat at York, andd that’s the Diner…

And the service is great too! Andy is talkin’ about the Lydon Diner. As far as he’s concerned it’s the only one in town, aka The Diner.
Mr Otis, Sir, prefers Hooters.

Of course, there is also the “Round the Clock Diner.”

I had a great dinner one Friday Night at the Hibachi, but that was a quieter, just a few friends event.
