OK slacker that I am :), I finally got around to setting up the first of my Vimeo channels
So far 25 videos of varying lengths, with more to come just as soon as I get some of the other âstuffâ off my plate.

Thanks Al,
Yep the Thompson and Fraser Canyon are prone to slide and avalanches, quite a few snow/rock sheds along the way and plenty of wire fences to trigger the alarm in case of snow or dirt slides and rock falls. Since back in the âgood old daysâ the railways were always having turf fights, they each built a line on opposite sides of the river. Pretty handy in modern times if you can detour over the competitionâs track, as long as one line stays open.
Just to say how much I have enjoyed the last coupla hours looking at a few of your videos. mrs tac and me particularly like Golden and the little lake just outside town on the 95 - great place for bird-watching as well, as you move a little further out of town and watch the herons in their âtree-housesâ in the ponds by the riverside.
Sadly, google earth has changed the imagery there recently, and itâs now pretty bleak-lookingâŚbut we have tons of pix there from our last drive across Canada to look at.
Best

Thanks tac!
There will be more a-coming. It just takes a bit of extra time to convert/edit the old VHS-C stuff from years ago.
