I’ve emailed him 3 times now with no answers.
Anyone else know where he is?
Looks like his last post on his RhB forum was Jan 24.
I can’t log in, cause I forgot my user name and password.
I emailed him asking for it…

He posted on Spass yesterday. Seems to be his new home.
Well, as mentioned elsewhere I’m just taking it e-a-s-y. Sheesh I even slept through the inauguration on the 20th! Got home on the 19th and needed to catch up on my sleep! All that mountain air and tramping around in the snow for 10 hours a day does it!
Sooooo OK, JB needs his info for the RhB forum. Coming up!
PS On the new home, not really, I’ve been on there as regular as clockwork. Mind you when I was away at the World Cup they wondered what happened. This despite me posting my schedule . As I always say “Those who can read have a real advantage!”
Thanks,
HJ, we were beginning to wonder.
Beginning?

Glad you are back, HJ…it was lonely without you…!!!
Gee - I was beginning to think that JJ started picking on Matthew 'cause HJ wasn’t around to blast Now he has a fresh target.
JJ is a ‘man for all seasons’ (or is that reasons). He will take up any cause as long as he has a counter view to HJ and Dr. G. It would be a boring world if everyone agreed with each other. Looks like Bachmann is the new ‘cause’ to crusade for.
JJ is a troll. He said so himself.
Tim,
looks like LGB discussion is on the way back. Just hate seeing manufacturers bashed for sport. Looks like LGB will be back in vogue soon!
…for sport…
Egads I thought it was a career, for some…!!!

As part of the audience, or as a spectator; I found it more interesting and fun, than the high priced Feetball Games", or “Bases Balls”…which seem rather childish.
Seeing grown men argue, and sometimes debate over the fate, scale, or worth, of LGB, is one of the best parts of life on a forum. Especially with the charactors we get to watch here on this web page.
We have the best, and we don’t have thin skinned moderators causing everyone to loose track of the direction the debate is going !!!

Rigorous discussion is not for the likes of Marvin and Co. It needs to be genteel and wishy-washy with plenty of monosyllables.
JJ,
I do enjoy a good discussion. I do see an anomaly arising though, when it comes to discussion of the new ‘hot’ topic and that is the demise of Marklin. I am aware of your opposition to the company (and rightly so), but with the opposition camp possibly having similar views to ‘the boys’, then how are we going to have a discussion. It would be a shame if we had to stick to merely facts, only and not be able to speculate. I feel no loyalty to the company and its future, but would enjoy a lot of speculation as to its future, although there does seem to be less juicy gossip the second time around.
HJ-
Is it an oxymoron to use the term “monosyllables” when referring to monosyllables?
Aren’t you taking advantage of those monosyllabic nitwits?
Tim Brien said:Well Tim I think it would be a pretty one sided affair to start a discourse on the subject . It would seem that the "opposition" have been silenced on the Marklin/LGB subject. Could it be that they've teamed up with their old "nemesis"? The plot thickens....

Hmmmm…Silence…
Generally speaking it is easier to have a discussion with someone who has some knowledge on the subject under discussion.
The subject came up approx. 30 years ago; what to reply when someone shouts at you: “I don’t argue with idiots!”. The proper reply is: “I always seem to!” (naturally in a very quiet voice). With the advent of the Web this needed some extra adjustment, but the basic tenet still applies.
