Yep, that’s how it works at the conceptual level.
Part of our clientel is architectural model builders - they need realistic trees, we get the call - and casual conversations about “projects” are quite interesting. From how the lead times develop, to how changes (What? Changes?
) are handled.
I don’t envy you one bit!

Doh! I understand perfectly! Spend six hours prepping for a potential client meeting which they have to have this weekend. Meet with them, present your stuff only for them to tell you “We’re just thinking about this for now. We may do something next year.”.
