Large Scale Central

Hi from Italy

Hi I’m building a now home in Pedavena (BL) where I hope to build a railroad in the garden, but now I’ve not money to do this :frowning:
I prefear the 1:13 scale models but I like Raetischebahn-Ferrovia Retica-Viafer Retica too
I live in north Italy in the Dolomites mountains, circa midle way between Venice and Innsbruck

Hi Mauro,

Welcome aboard, check around the site, lots of information here. Ask questions most of the member are experienced modelers and can give good advise. Good luck with your railroad.

Welcome Mauro.
Good luck with both the new house and RR.

Benvenuto, Mauro! tac here almost at the edge of Yoorup in eastern England [some of the time].

I can tell you that the guys here are fearsomely knowledgeable about all manner of train stuff - a few, H-J espcially, are fans of the RhB, as well.

But whatever it is that you are modelling, or rather, end up modelling, you can be sure that somebody here has already done it and leanr from the experience.

Looking forward to hearing all about your plans and projects.

Ciao Mauro,

Welcome to the forum. While we’re in the minority on LSC, some model the RhB.
Looking forward to your plans.

Pleased to meet you!

Howdy, pardner! Welcome aboard.

Did I read you right? Are you going to model the RhB in 1:13? That will be quite a railroad!

Thanks to all you for you messages.
I don’t want model Rhb in 1:13! I like tha small 2ft or 600mm gauge railways. Some years ago a’ve tried to build a C50 hungarian loco in 1:16.
For the fan RhB: next july I’ll will be a week in Schloss Hotel in Pontresina. I hope to see much trains with my family.
In italian language there is this forum about G scale http://scalag.forumup.it/
Sorry for my bad english

Welcome aboard!

Welcome, Mauro. Please don’t worry about your English. My use of the Italian language is nil.

You have some very good plans suggested. It will be good to see the progress.

The location of your home in the Dolomites should offer some beautiful backgrounds.

Ya. Butchered English is around here required.

Mauro-

Greetings, but your name sounds familiar. Did you used to post on the former GSM forum?

Glad to see another Euro modeller here.

Yes some times ago I’ve post massage in GSM

Welcome!

Mauro,

Welcome to you and glad you stepped aboard. Nice to have some more International World Wide flavor to our little World here. There is a common language here called model trains in large scale on #1 track. I’m happy that you joined us.
