Afternoom, Jo. What you see there and on the other clip at Rushford Barn - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6pQuLIoGmkU&feature=related - is the result of a LOT of work by Geoff Calver, my local G1 maven. He put in a lot of time and skill getting this loco to run as it should have done from the onset.
It now runs, well, like a train, and doesn’t seem to notice fourteen or so passenger cars ahint it. In fact, I’m looking at it right now as it sits on my window ledge, and VERY pretty it be’s too.
I’m told they are not selling as wel as expected, so you might get one for a good price if you are interested. Mine was a pre-ordered example, so was VERY well-priced by comparison with the current recommended price. Perhaps Lorenz will do you a deal, eh?
Alan Wright, currently recovering from a dose of illth, makes the beautiful Grove smooth-siders for it - all versions - for about $700 a pop. You’ll be needing sixteen to make a full everyday representative consist. The only option is the Aristocraft heavyweights in a slightly incorrect scale, but still of the correct genre for this beautiful loco.
When I first set eyes on the real thing in Squamish BC back in 2001, it was a very emotional experience for me. Even looking at the model brings me out in goosebumps.

Hi, Terry ,
that´s the problem with that beautiful finescale models: If you own the loco you didn´t even walk the half way as you have to get the matching coaches and the streamlined passenger coach stuff costs you even a lot more than the loco did if you want to have a complete prototypical train! I can dream about it but i can never ever afford it !
cheers Joe
PS: Freight service is more affordable btw, and FRR stuff as I model even more!
