I need a transformer for an older MRC model train transformer. The # on the actual power transformer is TRA 1548L 3T. Any help in locating one of these or compatible would be appreciated.
In most cases, these power packs, when the transformer calls it quits; it’s best to buy a new powerpack.
I know that in these times of having to restrain one’s buying; it would be nice to repair rather than trash, but in the long run it might be better to save to buy new.
Besides there are better powerpacks on the market today, that might make your running time more enjoyable.

ditto, many of the older ones just don’t have enough voltage or current for LS trains.
