I viewed a video on you tube of a fella in Australia. His railroad had custom locos and custom hopper that unloaded gravel on there own. His layout was industrial in nature. He has a interesting signaling method using a physical key to indicate who has the right of way. If anyone can help with finding the title or link to view his layout I would be greatful.
Found some videos of the State Railway of Thailand using a token signal system, but not the video you are after.
Here is info on token signaling: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Token_(railway_signalling)
Todd, I know which video you are talking about. I watched it a few weeks ago. I’ll see if I can find it again.
Found it. Well, I hope this is the one you were talking about.

Thanks mark but that’s not it.
The fella used white or off white scratch built diesels. Had Phoenix sound in them. Cars where a red oxide hopper and unloaded doors on the side of the cars automatically as the went through the facilities. I think Tony from rcs may know him. Hello Tony???
This is what you want. Actually in UK, but maybe based on Australian or South African.

Too bad it’s been dismantled.
That is it. Thanks. It was dismantled? Sad to hear it.
Lots of cleverness there!
The Complete Ore Cycle
This shows how the railroad operates, quite interesting, really.
