Help finding Bachmann 45 tonner video

I did my best, can’t find a link. Anyone know where to find the official video of the Bachmann 1:20.3 45 tonner?

Thanks!

I don’t know if they ever produced one. I’ve owned two 45 tonners.
One was brand new, and I don’t think it came with a video.

Thanks Ralph, could explain it!

Finally found one at a reasonable price and wanted to review it a bit before it gets here.

I only ran one of mine long enough to test it. So I can’t offer any insight.
Jon Radder could probably be of some help though.
Jon did mention something about “hardwiring” the trucks. I think out of the box they use contacts.
Ralph

I recall hearing that hard-wiring the trucks was a good idea. No worries as I plan on tearing this one apart and bashing a “squint scale” Little Giant out of it anyway.

Mark - I have step-by-step pics of truck rewiring for an article I never wrote if you want them. Bachman uses a spring contact to connect the trucks to the loco. There are several ways to wire them with varying levels of difficulty.

Heck yeah Jon…As you have obviously been there before I would love your insight. Post 'em or send to my email link. Saves me a lot of trouble, most appreciated.

May not be too much trouble as I plan on ripping it down to the chassis anyway.

Thanks!

I’ll look for the pictures as soon as I get a chance and either post 'em or email 'em.

I can’t find one on Youtube, though they have stuff that came before it.

I think I have several of the original tapes … want one? A lot of it is historic … photos of prototypes, cab ride on a (different style) 45 tonner, that kind of thing … and the usual lube instructions. And, as I recall it has it running on Stan’s railroad … though, I could be mistaken.

Thanks for the kind offer Matthew…Sad to say I do not have one of those new fangled tape playing machines, just old fashioned Blu-ray!

There are too many to shrink and caption and too large to email so here's the compromise. I put them on my site in a folder. The link below will open the folder in any browser. Then just click on each file name to open.

Ask questions here if you have any.

EDIT 7/5 My ISP just today decided to disable directory browsing so this link no longer works. I’m not happy about that because I use the browsing capability to find files I store in my web space. Complaints will be following to my ISP.

Jon, I wish you would have taken a few more pictures so the process would have been clear.

Very nice, thank you!

I did. I weeded out the duplicates and alternate angles
