Help Brit find her coaches

I’m posting this on behave of a fellow live steamer who needs your help. If you were at the Fall meet in PA make sure you read the description below.

Hi All, i am in a very sticky situation. I have lost or misplaced my custom made Pete Comley coaches that I run with my Aster Schools. Many of you who have met me in person have seen me run them with my schools and to those who haven’t you may have seen them in photographs. The last place that I believe that I had them was the PA live steamers fall meet on labor day weekend. i just noticed a few weeks ago that they were gone when i was packing away for the winter. I have checked my house and my grandparents thoroughly and they simply are not there. I am looking for any picture hat anyone has from Saturday at the fall meet to see if i can see the box that i carry them in in the Pictures. i do not believe that I ever ran them that day so they would have remained in the box. I am concerned that I may have left them behind and since the box was not marked nobody would know that they were mine. They are brown wood finish with a reddish-brown roof color and they are 3 axle coaches. All help is absolutely appreciated. Thanks Again, Brittany

what scum would steal a little girl’s RR cars?

HANG 'EM!

Ah, sorry, Richard, you said on the ‘other’ forum that you were going to post Brit’s CFH on largescalesteam - did not know you meant this one.

If you read Brit’s whole message, they were in unmarked boxes, so it seems quite likely they are tucked in someone’s garage for safe-keeping until the next meet, or still sitting whereever they were put. The question is, where?

Well the live-steam fellowship should damn well be going throguh their collective boxes right now - I know what boxes belong to me.

I cannot believe that this was an accidental pick-up.

I agree with Pete Thornton and in the case that it was NOT an accidental pick up who ever did take them would have a very difficult time showing them or running them without someone knowing especially with a live steamers group?
I personally feel they will be found(or I’m hoping they will)!!!
Who’s Pete Comley? (sorry for my ignorance)

Pete Comley-the gentleman who owns Sunset Valley Railroad.

Pete is also the gentleman who has built some magnificent coaches in the past, including Brit’s, and some of mine…

Brit has looked just about every place she can think of now, including the clubhouse where the Labout Day run was held.

Zilch.

Its a shame some one in the vicinity can’t go down to the dump to check if any of the workers there spotted the boxes and set them aside. Perhaps we could all chip in on a reward. I’ll toss in 10 bucks, I know its not much put if all of us did it ???

Richard, the problem is that it is all now just history - this happened a good while back, I’m afraid.

I’d bet that IF they were taken they are not even in the country now. I’m going to ask Zubi to keep an eyeball out for them in Japan. OT, but I never ever heard or read ANY news about my $25,000 worth of Canadian brass.

The good news is that Britt found her coaches. Her Dad “put them away” in the shed and piled blankets and pillows on top!
