My name is Kevin Blakeney and I am 16 years old. For the past two years, I have built gardens on site at the Ventura County Fair in California. I have come home with first place, best original design, and best in show awards. For the Ventura County Fair of 2004, I am trying to builld something unlike anything I have ever built at the fair. I want to build a garden railway in a 30 by 15 ft. area. I already have the design planned out but I am lacking any resources in my area for the materials I will need. I have been contacting large supply companies since February with little positive feedback. So here is my problem: I have a very small budget and no existing trains or track to use. If there is anyone out there who no longer wants any of their G scale engines, rolling stock, accesories, structures, track or figures, and would like to donate them to me for use in my display, I would really appreciate it.
