Clive here, from the south coast of Old England, rediscovering the site I first found a year or two ago. Seems a whole lot busier these days! I recognise quite a few of the names from other boards, so I guess I’m not that much of a stranger - apart from having to re-register that is!
For those who don’t know me, or who do but might have suppressed the memory of past encounters, I operate a modest line in Portsmouth, which has been developed over the course of the last 3 years or so. It is reasonably versatile in that it has an end-to-end capability, as well as a continuous loop - albeit with a couple of fearsome gradients.
My running tastes are pretty varied around a European theme, all LGB thus far. That said, however, I am leaning towards aquiring at least one live steam loco, as I feel that my fingers could do with having their distinctive print pattern burnt off…
