Keep watching to see why.
Vic,
That’s been around a while, but great way to pick up Seals, huh?
First time I had seen it, thought I’d share
Talk about a corrosion control nightmare, though. WOW!
And how many draftees does it take to clean a helicopter?
Hmm, and we have been using a truck and trailer for years, I always though there was a better way!
Doug Arnold said:Waaallll Doug, I knows you meant that as a joke, but to set the record straight, we don't have draftees any more, and haven't for a long time, and corrosion control in an aircraft entails a lot more than just a sweep-out of the barn, so to speak.
And how many draftees does it take to clean a helicopter?
After that swim, the entire back end of the helo would have been disassembled, cleaned, inspected, preserved, and then re-assembled. Even the jet engines would have been taken apart and gone through.
This recovery exercise is not something that is done everyday, trust me.
