Hecla Mine, Burke Idaho

You sure about that? OK, here goes.
I’ll estimate another 6.4 years. That way, when you get it done in 4.3, you’ll feel quite proud! I’d be at it at least another 7.5… so let’s just say you beat me already.

Have you developed a spreadsheet that tracks the number of hours on each project yet?

Yes, it’s called GuiltFactor.xlsx.

Used to be called SpankMeNow.xls, but I simplified it. While baking in some crazy formulas. Took a couple years…

Not hours, but just about everything else…

Aw man… You got me beat, Neil. That’s a boat-rocker right there.

However, my graph lines wouldn’t be anywhere near that smooth… or even continuous. But, it’s a great approach to hobby interest management, I love it!!

Devon,
I didn’t want to reread the whole thread, did you run across these videos when you were researching the Silver Valley?

There is a series of these on his channel.
Thanks for the link.

Yes I have but thanks for pointing them out.

This Wallace to Burke run up Canyon Creek is the theme of my railroad. The semi fictitious Canyon Creek Railway.

A Podcast of Passion: The Hecla

Our 2 favourite podcasters have summarised the Hecla Mine research, here. I’m finding it interesting that like the first one they did, they seemed to broaden the scope beyond what was presented, kind of got lost, but did ok considering being experimental AI.

Great job on that ore bin!

Thanks Ray. It was fun learning casting with resin and adding some rough detail.
